Before we start our work together, we will meet for an assessment, I will take some brief notes on what you might like to talk about in your sessions, some medical history and primarily to see if you'd like to work with me. There is a charge for this and it is £25.

One of the most frequently asked questions is, 'How many sessions will I need to have, and how often?' 

I won't keep you in therapy for longer than you need. Sometimes for short term therapy dealing with the here and now problems it can be between 6-10 sessions. For longer pieces of work it could be anything from a few months to a couple of years. Sessions are usually held once a week for an hour. Some people can only make once a fortnight because of life commitments. When you feel you are coming to the end of therapy you might like  come once a month to check in. We can always have a conversation to see what suits you. the cost for these sessions is £55. (£50 for student counsellors) There are some concessions available, please feel free to ask me. Ways to pay: bank transfer or card machine.

I also offer Clinical Supervision for counselling students and qualified counsellors. These sessions usually last for 1 or 1.5 hours depending on your supervision requirements. The cost for this is £55
