My name is Barbara Appleby and I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, based in Exeter, Devon.
About me and my work
I live in the South West, I have a cat called Jinxy who loves to visit the local park and hang out.
I love living in Exeter as it's steeped in history and has many beautiful buildings in the city centre.
I work in an Integrative way which just means I have been trained to work with three models of therapeutic intervention. CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) TA (Transactional Analysis) and Gestalt. A therapeutic session usually lasts for one hour.
I can work with a range of Common Mental Health Conditions, but my special interest is
GI (Gender Identity) and SO (Sexual Orientation)
